Testifying to the Truth

Testifying

Matthew 10:32 Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.  33.  "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.   34.  "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

Matthew 12:34  "Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  35.  "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

Mark 5:19  However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, "Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.  20.  And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

Luke 9:26  "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 12:8  "Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.

John 12:42  Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;  43.  for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Romans 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.  17.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith.''

 18.  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Romans 10:8  But what does it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart'' (that is, the word of faith which we preach):  9.  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  10.  For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

1 Corinthians 14:3  But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

1 Corinthians  24.  But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is judged by all.  25.  And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.

Philippians 1:28  and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. 29.  For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,   30.  having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

2 Timothy 1:8  Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

2 Timothy 2:12  If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

Philemon 1:6  that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 3:12  Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;  13.  but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today,'' lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 3:15  while it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

1 Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 John 4:15  Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  16.  And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

All Must Be Saved

Matthew 12:30  He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Mark 9:40  For he who is not against us is on our side.

Luke 11:23  He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Luke 18:17  Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.

John 3:18  He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 7:7  The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.

John 8:29  And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.

John 8:47  He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.

John 16:8  And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  9.  of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10.  of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;  11.  of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

Romans 1:21  because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 3:9.  What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. 10.  As it is written:  There is none righteous, no, not one;   11. there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. 12.  They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.

Romans 3:19  Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 21.  But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22.  even the righteousness of God which is through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

Romans 5:12  Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned

Romans 7:14  For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

Romans 8:5  For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6.  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

 7.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.  8.  So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9.  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

2 Corinthians 5:14  For the love of Christ constrains us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;

Galatians 3:21  Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. 22.  But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Ephesians 2:3  among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

1 John 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 2:15  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 John 2:22.  Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.  23.  Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

1 John 4:3  and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

1 John 5:12  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John 5:19  We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Revelation 2:14  But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15.  Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Christ died to Save Sinners

Matthew 20:28  just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Matthew 26:26  And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, Take, eat; this is My body  27.  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28.  For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mark 14:22  And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to them and said, Take, eat; this is My body. 23.  Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.  24.  And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

Luke 22:19  And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. 20.  Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.

Luke 24:44  Then He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me. 45.  And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. 46.  Then He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47.  and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

John 1:29  The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John 1:36  And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God!

John 3:14  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15.  "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  16.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  17.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.

John 6:54  Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Good Works alone will not Save

Matthew 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Romans 8:9  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Romans 9:31  but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.

Romans 10:3  For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 5.  For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, "The man who does those things shall live by them.  6.  But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, "Do not say in your heart, Who will ascend into heaven?'  that is, to bring Christ down from above  7.  or, Who will descend into the abyss?  that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.  8.  But what does it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart'' that is, the word of faith which we preach:  9.  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  10.  For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.  11.  For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.
