JESUS SAID IT
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). He is the one and only way, truth and life. He has the right to declare such because of His power (authority), "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth" (Matthew 28:18). At the Lord's transfiguration, as recorded in Matthew 17:1-8, God said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him". The Hebrew writer declared in Hebrews 1:1-2, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners sake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds". He is God's spokesman today. What He says in His Word is true, good and right.
Many are looking for spiritual direction and guidance in this life. That is good provided we look for it in the right place and from the right one. It is only by looking to the Lord and His Word that we can find the spiritual help that we need in this life to prepare for eternity.Jerry Joseph
